Mary McGeown has transformed the derelict Chemist at 57 Loampit Hill into an arts space, hosting arts & crafts workshops, a monthly art exhibition, talks by local artists and makers, a quilter’s bee, film screenings and a supper club to bring people together to enjoy the food of local chefs. We sell work by local artists and makers.
Michael Brown’s solo show is on until 1st December. A Christmas market on 14-15th December will showcase local makers. The first workshops will be: Creating your own graphic novel (from 28th November); Christmas wreath making (from 4th December). More scheduled for the new year.

Brockley Police Station 4 Howson Road, London, SE4 2AS

This building has been part of the community for generations. Brockley Society agrees that it should be protected for the community rather than sold to developers now that it is no longer being used by the police. You may wish to support Yv Greav’s campaign:
Hello! I’ve started the petition Save Brockley Police Station and convert it into a Health Fitness and Art Centre. I need your help to get it off the ground. Please take 30 seconds to sign to sign my petition by clicking here. Details are on the petition website.  – Thanks!  Yv Greav
