Local Craft Collective

Pinky Sidhu and her daughter have set up a co-operative of local designer-makers called the Craft Collective.  They run a monthly craft fair at the Telegraph Hill Centre on the same Saturday (3rd each month) as the Farmer’s Market and are planning some evening events too.  The group is fairly small but growing and includes a wide range of crafts from textiles, silver and hand-knitted jewellery, painted ceramics, handmade books, etc.

They are also running

  • a special event in the form of an exhibition of new work on Monday 12 December, which includes a community project inviting people to bring along a piece of fabric which will be used to create new curtains for the Lounge area, where all our events take place.  The exact details on this are still being finalised but it will be an evening event with refreshments.
  • a range of workshops at the Saturday fairs or as evening events.
