Bold Vision is delighted that New Crossed Out will hold their next performance at the Hill Station. Doors open at 8pm for 8.30 start
New Crossed Out
A new monthly night of performance and music by Goldsmiths students. Each month two different curators from the MA Performance Making set a new challenge for performers. Come along, have a drink and enjoy emerging artists trying out their ideas!
This is a community performance opportunity and is based on Lewisham Way just outside the Goldsmiths Library. There is a mini Street Stage and Artmongers are now accepting entries for the performance program. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to join in. Singers, musicians, poets, social commentators, storytellers, jugglers, acrobats, dancers… if you can do it in public on 4 square metres of stage you’re welcome to apply. More info at http://newxing.wordpress.com/. Volunteers also needed for the flashmob event on Sep 29th.
A small amount of money is available for costs you might incur (eg costumes, props).
Just a reminder that this is happening in the Hill Station on Friday evening. Bar from 7.30pm, starts at 8. Not really suitable for children. Entry £6 (£4 concessions). Full details of the musical treats in store here Jazz Club at Bold Vision Hill Station 22.07.11. Ian has prepared some delicious food that will be on sale.
Thereafter, evening opening will be on an events basis. Currently fixed are Aug 20 and Sep 2. If you are up for helping to run an open evening – anything from an indoor picnic where we all bring our own food and drink to a showcase of your own cooking, musical talents, poetry, performance, bingo calling, scrabble playing…. just email us and we’ll try to help you make it happen. It’s our space to enjoy as a community.
