The Hill Station Community Café is urgently seeking to appoint an experienced Chef to
work up to 5 shifts a week preparing daily specials, short orders (including breakfasts)
and be responsible for planning and delivering the menu for each week.
This position would be for an initial 3 months to cover the absence of our current chef.
Payment will be calculated on an hourly basis (above London living wage minimum).
This position would suit someone who is keen to develop their flair for good cooking
and we welcome applicants who have at least one year’s experience of working in a
busy kitchen and have in their possession relevant food handling and hygiene training
certificates. Applicants must be able to prove that they can work well with other team
members (barista, serving staff and assistant cooks), enjoy engaging with members
of the public, and above all be able to show initiative drive and work hard to prepare
exciting but reasonably priced daily specials.
Please send CVs to Jacqui Shimidzu at Jacqui@thehillstation.org
Candidates will be expected to do a trial shift as part of the interview.
