Canon Francis Makambwe’s funeral will be held at Southwark Cathedral at 11am on Thursday 30th October. There will be a burial at 2pm (details to be confirmed, but a south London cemetery) and reception at Bromley Parish Church (next door to Primark in Bromley) from 3pm. All are welcome to attend. I’m sure many of you remember the beginning of our project when we really weren’t sure quite how we were going to make it happen. A pivotal moment was when the then Vicar at St Catherine’s – Canon Francis Makambwe got behind the idea.
