What will happen?
1. Residents will narrow down the types of community projects to get a share of the £43,750 Assembly Fund this year. The assembly has a large action plan of projects suggested by residents. This is your chance to help select which types of projects and ideas are most important for local
- Youth activities and support projects
- Community activities
It is also a chance to add more ideas around projects.
2. Volunteering
Find out how to volunteer (eg for Honor Oak Community Library, the assembly co-ordinating group and the Pensioners Shopping Bus) and how to get more volunteers from Lewisham Volunteer Centre for your community group.
3. Honor Oak Community Centre Library
Come and see what is available at the centre and join on the evening. There will be storytellers for children in the library during the meeting.
4. Damp and Mould Review
Information from councillors on the official review on the problems tenants are having with damp and mould in their homes.
5. Community Information
- Updates from local community groups
- Family Mosaic Housing Association will give information on the Hilton House redevelopment (Honor Oak Estate)
Registration 6.45pm, food and drinks provided. Free crèche available for over 2’s (limited spaces). Storytellers for children in the library (lounge) during the meeting.
