Winter art installation at Common Growth

The veggies may be winding down but that doesn’t mean the end of the action at Common Growth for this winter. We’re delighted to announce that a local artist (Misa Tamura) will be creating an art installation in the Common Growth garden (on Sandbourne Road near junction of Jerningham Road).
This exciting project will be taking place most Sundays from December through to February, so why not come along and have a chat, have a look, or even help out! Misa will usually be there between 13:00 and 15:00.
What will be involved: installation of some mixed media sculpture/objects.  Objects will be made on site and displayed on the ground, on the fence, or anywhere else that looks good!As we’re now pretty much in winter, the usual garden opening times maintained through Summer and Autumn will not apply, so we are very grateful to Misa, for giving us this opportunity to have the site open at some times through the winter, and for adding this visual interest to the site whilst most of the plants are hibernating through winter.
