Hill Station Cafe Tender

Bold Vision, a community development charity in SE14, is looking for a new operator to take over running the vibrant Hill Station Community Cafe on Telegraph Hill. This is an exciting opportunity to build on the existing success of the venture, and to develop a catering business that serves the needs of the community and fulfills Bold Vision’s social mission. The contract will be for a 3 year period and will start in August 2013. The closing date for proposals is 3 May 2013. Proposals should contain a full description of experience, the proposed service offering, a financial proposal and statement of how Bold Vision’s values would be enhanced.

Brockley Max

The Brockley MAX Festival (1-9 June 2012) is an annual, community festival (now in its 12th year) and combines music, art and exhibitions. It aims to involve and include residents and visitors of all ages, by providing a diverse range of activities over the festival week, and by providing opportunities for members of the community to get directly involved. We aim to inspire people of all ages to use and explore their creative talents and to help us all to knit the community more closely together. Most of the events are free.

We are fortunate to have a number of artists, poets and musicians living in Brockley who kindly donate their time, skills and energy to make Brockley Max an exciting and inspiring event. Several thousand people are expected to attend events throughout the festival week.
