		<description>Local History

I am looking for information about the New Cross Area in the late 19th century as my 2x Great Grandfather (Charles Hearn) owned/lived at 209 New Cross Road per census records in the 1870s through to his death in 1899.

I wondered if anyone in the area would have old photographs or pictures of the area from around that time as i would be interested to know how the local area looked at the time of Charle&#039;s life. If there are any stories or events from that time I would love to hear those as well.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated, I can be contacted via der1969history@hotmail.com.

Many thanks
