Local libraries

There is a meeting to discuss and decide the community’s view and role in relation to Darren Taylor’s offer to take over 4 of the libraries tabled for closure by Lewisham.

The meeting is at 7pm All Saints Community Centre (105 NXR – at junction with Monson Road) on Mon 11th April as part of a local campaign. See www.thefutureofnewcross.wordpress.com/ for more details about what they are doing

  1. Hi Catherine

We would like to attend the Meeting on the 11th April to discuss an alternative Library proposal that we delivered to Lewiwsham Council on the 4 April and will be exhibited on the 12 April at the Civic Suite 4pm to 8pm.

Our proposal is called WE TH!NK and we believe is a much better proposal that Darren Taylors.

Currently we have Several Community Groups signed up to the idea of holding Leanring development Sessions in each Library.

Please Email me your details and I can forward a more detailed proposal.

    1. Hi Toby. Sorry for the slow response, I was waiting to hear from the libraries people. This is not a Bold Vision mtg on the 11th, just something we were asked to publicise. Did you go along?
