Bold Backers Feedback

sculpture 11Last month we invited all our Bold Backers to join us for a celebratory supper and a chance to hear all their feedback about what we have been doing so far at Bold Vision plus their ideas for where we should focus our attention next.

Among the many ideas (summarised here Bold Backers 2014 Report on your feedback) we realise a few things need clarifying to everybody

  • Bold Vision is an umbrella charity supporting the Hill Station, New Cross Learning, Common Growth and other local community projects like Grow Wild from time to time
  • Almost all community activities are run on a voluntary basis, the projects and Bold Vision are constantly seeking funding to maintain activities
  • We welcome new members onto the Bold Vision management team – contact  boldvisionmail@gmail.com to find out more or get involved
  • If you have a fundraising idea or know someone who might be interested in being a Bold Backer please also get in touch

Hill Thinking

In September we organised a meeting with people from Bold Vision, Telegraph Hill Centre, Telegraph Hill Festival, PCC

and the Hill Station to explore what (if any) should be the ongoing  role for Bold Vision.

Attached are some of the key points that came up during that meeting. Envisioning meeting 1309

We’d love to hear your thoughts on this or any other suggestions you have. Please add a comment here or email boldvisionmail@gmail.com

We try to keep the garden open on Sunday afternoons (2-5pm) throughout the winter months, but please accept our apologies if the garden is closed due to bad / cold weather…bear with us!

We are planning plenty of ‘building activities’ in the garden over the winter period, and are looking for people who can help out building decking and a path, putting together a greenhouse and digging a second wildlife pond. So get in touch if you want to help out!

See you soon,
